This program uses a variety of instructional methods including lectures, group discussions, outside speakers, problem solving, role playing, audio/visuals, and computer training. 

The subjects covered include identifying opportunities in their neighborhood, marketing their ideas, simplified bookkeeping, beginning and advanced computer skills, complying with the law, and how to find money to get started.
