Youth Empowerment Enterprises is a
competency based program. The evaluation is based chiefly on the
attainment of specified competencies.

Workbooks require students to complete written
exercises and assignments. Students must master the material before
completing the exercises in the workbooks. |

All students must complete a business plan. To
complete this plan, they must master the major topics in the
curriculum. Their work is regularly monitored by the staff and
available for review. |

The business start up period is monitored and
evaluated using a standard evaluation form. |

Areas less assessable to evaluation, but no
less important are: attitude changes toward education, work, and their own
